As one of our Care Providers, you won't have to worry about finding clients, selling yourself, spending half your budget on ads, or designing effective marketing materials.
We'll find you as many 100% private, cash paying clients as you want. You won't have to attend networking events, pay for an ad, or pass out a card to build your brand.
You'll be featured on our search-engine and ad word-optimized website and enjoy the benefits of being associated with our growing online presence, professional reputation, and impactful brand. You won't need to write, design, or pay for your own professional website.
We pay for and create effective advertisements for you. You won't have to design a logo, offer discounts or specials, or navigate the confusing world of advertising.
If you have existing advertisements, social media pages, or directory listings (Psychology Today, Yelp, Healthgrades, Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), we can help you rewrite and reconfigure your content/presence to ensure you're attracting the population and number of clients you want. You won't have to doubt that your marketing is serving its fullest potential.
We design, pay for, and distribute customized business cards, flyers, and more. You won't have to worry whether your marketing materials look professional, nor waste time, energy, or money on formatting, printing, or distributing them.
As one of our Care Providers, you won't have to take time away from sessions to return new client calls, conduct intakes, or keep your calendars up to date.
You can work as little or as much as you want: by the hour, in blocks, half-days, or full days. You're in control of your schedule and are free to choose the times/days that work best for you. Easily update your availability any time by contacting us or doing so directly from any device with internet. You won't have to worry about accidental double bookings, shuffling personal appointments, or asking for permission to take time off. With our innovative Scheduling Hotline, all you have to do is send a simple text after your session and your calendars will be updated by our administrative staff.
We handle all intake calls, forms, and setup for new (and returning after pauses) clients. Just tell us which client populations, rates, and schedule you prefer, and which forms you'd like to have clients complete, and we'll take care of the rest. You won't have to worry about missing new client calls or business, rushing to get back to people between sessions, or walking clients through forms, telehealth instructions, or parking directions.
You'll have fully integrated and secure access to your (Google Calendar or Apple iCal) calendar at your fingertips, on whatever device you prefer. You won't have to worry about quickly deciphering your planner during a session, entering an appointment incorrectly, or not being able to see what's coming up for the weeks or months ahead.
Instantly learn of new or updated schedule changes with convenient email or app notifications. You won't have to worry about keeping track of scheduling changes.
As one of our Care Providers, you won't have to worry about insurance panels, superbills, invoicing, keeping track of cancelations, or chasing down late payments.
We take care of all things billing including invoicing, online and in-person payments, collections, superbills, late fees, no-shows, and cancelations. You won't have to risk that rapport by having those awkward money conversations (though, of course, if it's clinically useful, you certainly can!).
We've done all the work for you so that clients can easily pay online or in-person as well as enjoy modern conveniences like autopay. We provide and maintain all the necessary infrastructure and technology to be able to accept payments via: credit, debit, and FSA/HSA cards, and also provide discrete, in-suite lock boxes for cash and personal check payments in-person. We even cover all the merchant processing fees and subscriptions associated with accepting various payment types for you. You won't have to worry about managing or offering online payments, paying credit card processing fees, or keeping up with the latest payment technologies for clients.

We also happily and quickly answer client questions pertaining to insurance for you as well as prepare any needed superbills/receipts to help clients get the maximum potential reimbursement from their insurance companies. You won't have to worry about creating billing documents, keeping up with insurance-required notes/clinical reviews, or spend precious session time answering non-clinical questions.
You'll have access to all your clients' payment history, superbills we've prepared on your behalf, and any other billing items through our integrated electronic medical record system. You won't have to keep your own record of who has paid when, which clients are behind or ahead, or who needs receipts.

To get in touch about becoming a Care Provider, please click the following link: join@caringconnected.com, fill out the template, and attach your resume (PDF format, please).
Some key things to know before getting in touch:
We STRONGLY PREFER clinicians who work from trauma-informed and culturally-competent perspectives. If you aren't sure what those mean, we encourage you to gain a thorough understanding and some related experience before reaching out to us.
We STRONGLY PREFER clinicians who have done (or are continuing to do) many hours of their own personal therapy. Self-awareness, self-care, and the management of personal trauma, bias, countertransference, and burnout are all extremely important to us and your work with clients.
We STRONGLY PREFER clinicians who have worked in private practice or private practice-like settings. However, if you have not worked in a private practice, but you have attended a lot of your own personal therapy within a private practice setting, that can be considered relevant experience.
We STRONGLY PREFER clinicians who are reasonably tech-savvy. In other words, we don't need you to know anything advanced, but we prefer folks who are able to navigate current video platforms, emails, and texts with ease.
We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to read through the rest of the pages on this website so that you can get to know us better as well. Knowing our culture, approach, and how we do things on the client-side will help you prepare any questions you may have for the interview process (which we are happy to answer once we speak with you).
Some operational things to know before getting in touch:
A lot of people contact us about becoming a Care Provider, so don't take it personally or worry if it takes us a while (like, 2-4 weeks) to get back to you. We'll get there!
We don't care if the education, experience, or skills (or whatever!) sections of your resume are at the top or bottom, or whether you include an objective or not. As long as your resume is readable, free of errors, and represents you and your qualifications accurately and honestly, we will read the whole thing and weigh the sections fairly. We also don't mind if your resume is more than one page, we promise. Just please, for our eyes' sake don't make it more than three!
In addition to your resume, we encourage you to include links to/information for any professional profiles you may have (Psychology Today, LinkedIn, etc.), and anything else you feel would help us get to know you better (whether that's a cover letter, personal website, display of community or cultural involvements, or 64th-Place-Bowling-Champion-of-the-World certificate). Just be you, and make sure any links/profiles are current and publicly viewable.
If you are applying as a pre-licensed clinician, please include answers to the following questions in your email/application:
How many hours toward licensure have you completed (and under what pathway--AMFT, APCC, ACSW, etc.)?
Have you passed your Legal/Ethics examination (or similar); if so, when?
Have you worked in a private practice setting before?
PLEASE NOTE: Care Providers are independently licensed or registered associate providers who are neither our employees nor agents nor representatives. Caring Connected's role is limited to enabling the Care Provider's Services and providing services to the Care Provider for the betterment of their own independent practice, while the Services performed by the Care Providers themselves are the responsibility of the Care Provider who provides them. Services performed by the Care Providers must be conducted under the rules and regulations set forth by their state licensing/credentialing body (e.g., the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or California Board of Psychology).
